Club Rules

 

 

1.                  At all times no equipment is to be attempted without a trainer’s instruction.

 

2.     Do not feed your dog 3 hours prior to training. 

 

3.                Flat collars to be worn - no choke chains or half checks.

 

     4.      Leads need to be a reasonable length i.e. 1.5 metres.

 

    5.        Dogs to be kept on leads when not working.Remember some dogs like their own

       space. Do not let your dog sniff others without checking first.

 

6.    Current vaccination certificates to be shown. 

 

7.               All accidents must be cleared up please make sure you always have poo bags. 

 

8.     Harsh handling will not be tolerated.

 

9.            Please leave your dog in the car until your class begins.

 

   10.            Do not go near the horses.

 

   11.             No smoking on the premises.

 

 

Please abide by all the rules above; they are made for the safety of you and your dog as well as others around you.

 

Statement of Acceptance of Responsibility
Participation in Broadland Dog Agility Club  Activities is entirely at the risk of the participant. Neither the club, trainers, helpers, nor the owners of the venues, accept any responsibilities, whatsoever,for any injuries or losses sustained. Any handler that are asked to do something that they are not comfortable with, should politely decline and let the trainer know why.
 
In the rare event that a dog to dog confrontation occurs or there is an injury caused by a dog, it is the owners responsibility to pass on relevant personal and insurance details within 48 hours.
 
The Club does have Public Liability Insurance, however pet insurance is recommended.
